Once again, the National Assembly (parliament) refused on Tuesday a request from the Public Prosecution to lift parliamentary immunity from MPs Nabil Al-Fadhel and Dr. Abdul-Hamid Dashti.
Al-Fadhel is accused of three felonies while Dashti is charged with only one felony.
Earlier on Sunday, the National Assembly's legal and legislative affairs committee had turned down the same request.
