His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Tuesday received the new army chief of staff, Lieut. Gen. Mohammad Khaled Al-Khder in presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Lieut. Gen. Sheikh Abdullah Nawaf Al-Ahmad.
During the meeting, His Highness the Prime Minister congratulated the new army chief on the trust he gained from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the supreme-commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness the Premier stressed the necessity of boosting and bolstering the efficiency, combat preparedness and training of the Armed Forces, and providing all necessary requirements.
