The Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCC) announced on Sunday its withdrawal from the National Coalition for Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces.

In a press release that was aired by Al Arabiya Al Hadath TV Channel, the LCC said its withdrawal comes due to the collations' internal dispute on personal gains and goals.

The LCC also accused the coalition of adopting non-institutional measures and adopting other means that depend on entities linked with foreign powers and factors.

Syria has been witnessing deadly violence since March 2011 that left hundreds of thousands of people dead and injured.
