Leaderships at the river transport were summoned by the administrative prosecution as part of investigations into the cause of the tragedy that left at least 40 persons dead after a boat traveling down the Nile near Al Warraq, Giza, collided with a barge in July.

Head of the general department for operation at the river transport authority, head of the general department for river supervision at the authority, head of the premises department in Cairo, head of the panel formed to check the boat and the barge were summoned by the administrative prosecution.
