Heads of the GCC legislative councils praised Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim for successfully presiding over the seventh session of the heads of the GCC legislative councils.
This came in the final statement on Monday of the eighth meeting of heads of the GCC legislative councils, where they reviewed the annual report of the president in the seventh session.
The chairmen were addressed with a briefing by the GCC General Secretariat on the joint work in 2014 and confirmed their determination to support the process of cooperation among the member states so as to achieve the set objectives.
Heads of the GCC legislative councils will hold the ninth session next year in the Sultanate of Oman, at the invitation of the President of the Sultanate of Oman's Majlis Al-Shura (council), Sheikh Khalid Al-Mawali.
