The Lebanese army has arrested 14 displaced Syrians for not having official papers and violating residency regulations in a number of areas, according to media reports on Friday.
The Lebanese army raided a number of towns in the Koura district north of Lebanon and arrested five Syrians for violating residency laws, said the National News Agency.
It added that the army also stormed in the camp for displaced Syrians in Bekaa and arrested seven Syrians without official papers as well as arresting two Syrians in a nearby area due to same reason.
Recently, the Lebanese army has raided a large number of homes and camps inhabited by displaced Syrians and arrested a number of them in several Lebanese regions.
The incursions overlapped with the recent events in Arsal town north-east of Lebanon between the army and militants, mostly belonging to Syrian opposition groups.
