The Lebanese army scoured on Wednesday the northeastern border town of Arsal as tension increases between its residents and Syrian militants over mutual kidnappings.
About 30 Syrian people were abducted by Arsal residents In response to taking a Lebanese national hostage by Syrian militants, according to media reports.
The Arsal residents took the action after the failure of negotiations to free the Lebanese national, the reports added.
