Lebanese Army bomb disposal experts safely defused on Wednesday explosives planted in a four-wheel vehicle, the official National News Agency said.The black jeep was found in a parking lot in the Beirut Corniche El-Mazraa district, the NNA said, adding a Palestinian detainee, named Naim Abbas, had informed interrogators about a plot to set off the explosives in the southern suburbs of Beirut.Earlier, the army arrested Abbas, who was identified as a leading member of the shadowy violent group, Abdullah Azzam Brigades, suspected of recently planting several bombs in the Beirut region.
