The Lebanese army on Saturday shelled the outskirts of Ras Baalbek and Arsal, 124km northeast of Beirut.

The bombardment was sparked upon intelligence of moving armed gangs out of the two Beqaa's outskirts.

Bekaa witnesses intensified movements by militants of Al-Nusra Front which is al Qaeda's affiliate and Daesh terrorist group.
