Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Gebran Bassil met here Wednesday with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly.
During the meeting, they discussed the situation of more than two million displaced Syrians hosting by Lebanon.
Meanwhile , Basil also met with the ambassadors of the non-permanent member states of the United Nations Security Council including Argentina, Australia, Jordan, Nigeria, Korea, Chile, Chad, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Rwanda and briefed them on the new policy of Lebanon towards the issue of displaced Syrians.
