The Lebanese Forces Party has condemned terrorist attacks on Thursday night in North Sinai that left scores of soldiers and civilians dead and injured.
"We deeply condole with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian people and families of the martyrs," said party chairman Samir Geagea in a statement Friday.
"We wish the injured a speedy recovery."
Geagea praised efforts exerted by Sisi and the Egyptian state and army in fighting extremist and terrorist groups.
"Egypt has proven it is stronger than terrorism," Geagea said, urging world countries to cooperate with Cairo to eliminate extremism and terrorism that threaten the whole world.
