Lebanese Labour Minister Sij'aan Qazzi asserted that the ministry gives priority to Egyptian workers.

In statements to MENA, he said that the Egyptian workers do not follow a political or terrorist agenda. 

Also, Qazzi added that he reached an agreement with the visiting delegation of the Egyptian consular committee to form an Egyptian-Lebanese committee, to convene in April in order to redraft the joint Egyptian-Lebanese labour agreement.

Qazzi described his meeting with the Egyptian delegation as successful, noting that they discussed the problems that face some Egyptian workers.
