The Lebanese Parliament session to elect a new president of the country was adjourned on Wednesday for lack of quorum.
A two-thirds quorum (85) of the legislature’s 128 members is required for any electoral session.
Speaker Nabih Berri scheduled the 27th round of voting for Sept 30.
Most members of the March 8 Alliance led by Hezbollah did not attend today's session as they insist on nominating Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun for the post.
