Head of the Lebanese People’s Congress Kamal Chatila hailed Egypt’s national role in serving Arab national security.
Addressing a gathering held at the gates of Israeli-occupied Shaaba Farms in southern Lebanon on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Working People's Forces, Chatila called for reforming the Arab League and activating the joint Arab defense accord.
The strength of the Egyptian army is the backbone of Arab national security, he said.
