Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam

Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam will arrive in Amman on Wednesday to lead his country's delegation to the meetings of the Jordanian-Lebanese joint higher committee.

The committee will tackle bilateral relations and ways to promote cooperation in the various areas, particularly in the economic field and trade exchange.

The meeting will also deal with the recent regional developments, especially the Syrian conflict, which directly affect Jordan and Lebanon that receive large numbers of Syrian refugees.
