The Lebanese army beefed up security measures around the northeastern town of Arsal.
Military troops shelled mountainous areas around the town to target militants of Nusra Front and Daesh groups.
Meantime, a main road that leads to Arsal has been blocked by residents who protested the killing of a security personnel by Nusra Front.
