The Lebanese Army arrested two Lebanese nationals for financing Daesh terror group, a statement said on Tuesday.
Mahmoud Hamzeh and Mohammad Mohsen are accused of transferring funds from an unidentified foreign country to Lebanon, according to the Lebanese newspaper the Daily Star.
The money, according to the Army statement, was collected from organizations linked to Daesh and was distributed in Lebanon to individuals and organizations with links to terrorist groups.
