Lebanon's General Security arrested a Lebanese man for his suspected involvement in an attack that targeted the southern Beirut suburb of Burj al Barajneh in November.

The attack left 43 persons dead and 239 people more injured.

A statement released Friday said that General Security had detained a man, who admitted the purchase and sale of explosives.

The suspect also confessed that he had handed over an amount of explosives and detonators - used in the Burj al Barajneh bombings - to another "terrorist".
