Cairo - MENA
Lebanon's Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi issued a personal apology to Bahrain on Saturday over criticism made by Hezbollah's leader against Bahrain.
In a statement, Rifi wished that Hassan Nasralla's remarks, which runs contrary to Beirut's will, would not leave a negative impact on historic relations.
Rifi also called on the Lebanese government to apologize to Manama, saying, he would raise the issue in the Cabinet’s next session.
In a speech last week, Nasrallah accused the Bahraini government of being “tyrannical and oppressive.”
