Lebanon, on Wednesday evening, said it stands with Jordan in the face of terrorism.
Lebanese Foreign Ministry condemned attempts to threat Jordan's security by Daesh affiliates, some of which were discovered during raids carried out by the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army, and security forces in the northern city of Irbid, according to a ministry statement.
The Lebanese ministry voiced "solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, its leadership and people, in the defense of freedom and diversity in the Middle East, which are threatened by the takfiri thinking." The statement called for "a concerted regional and international efforts to address globalized terrorism by supporting national armed forces to enable them to carry out their duty to preserve the Arab national security and stability in the region.
