The Libyan Foreign Ministry affirmed its support to the legitimate authority in Yemen under President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and his government.
It further voiced full support to the airstrikes launched by Saudi Arabia and a number of Arab countries, which support legitimacy in Yemen.
In a statement Thursday, the Libyan Foreign Ministry said that Yemen's security and stability are of utmost importance.
The ministry further said that it is closely following up the rapid developments in Yemen and renewed rejection to the stance adopted by the Houthis to overthrow the legitimate authority and control on the reins of power, a matter which led to the bloody events in Yemen.
