Former Libyan interior minister Ashour Shuwail said Sunday the country has become a danger to itself and the neighboring countries.

In statements, Shuwail described terrorism as a "global epidemic" that needs to unity international efforts to confront it.

He called for promoting Arab identity and spreading the spirit of tolerance, brotherhood, and national reconciliation.
