Tripoli - MENA
The interim Libyan government has strongly condemned attacks against the Saudi and the UAE embassies in Yemen.
In a statement on Wednesday, the government voiced support for Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Such attacks are considered a stark violation of international law and the laws which regulate diplomatic representation.
The UAE condemned yesterday the “occupation” of its embassy in Sanaa by the Houthi militants, the foreign ministry said in a statement demanding their immediate exit from the compound.
Also last month, the Houthis put offensive phrases on the walls of the building of the Saudi Embassy in Yemen.
