Libyan Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thani has strongly deplored the beheading of 30 Ethiopians at the hands of Daesh fighters in Libya.
In a cable to his Ethiopian counterpart Hailemariam Desalegn on Wednesday, al-Thani condoled with the families of the victims and Ethiopia's government and people.
He stressed that such acts don’t represent the Libyan people, stressing his country's keenness on fighting and uprooting terrorism.
On Monday, Ethiopia confirmed the authenticity of a video depicting the execution of 30 Ethiopians in Libya by Daesh group.
