Libya probes bomb attacks

The security directorate of the Libyan capital of Tripoli launched an investigation on Thursday into two bomb attacks that targeted the embassies of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in Tripoli.
The directorate condemned in a statement the attacks, vowing strong actions would be taken to hunt down the perpetrators.
The statement has also urged policemen to return to their work to maintain stability in the Libyan capital.
Earlier in the day, two car bombs exploded near the Egyptian and the UAE embassies in Tripoli but no casualties were reported.
