The Libyan Embassy in Italy warned its nationals living or visiting Italy to be more caution and abide by all regulations and legal procedures required by the Italian authorities as well as avoiding any violations.

In a press release on Thursday, the embassy also called for contacting the consular affairs in Rome and Milan for any emergency.

This comes after the Italian authorities arrested a Libyan female, a PhD student in Italy.
