Libyan parliament

Libyan chief of staff Abdel Razeq al Nazouri hailed the Egyptian government, people and army's efforts to support the Libyan people to surpass the ongoing crisis.

In exclusive statements to MENA on Monday, Nazouri also greeted Egypt's support to the legitimate Libyan parliament and government.

He said that the Egyptian army is helping its Libyan counterpart via consultation, intelligence and logistics.

He asserted that without Egypt's support to the Libyan army and people, Daesh group would have spread in all Libyan territories.

Nazouri hailed a meeting of the commanders of the Arab armies held at Arab League headquarters in Cairo to discuss the establishment of an Arab joint force.

Turing to the Turkish ship that was struck earlier by Libyan forces, Nazouri said the Turkish ship has entered the Libyan waters and was carrying 60 Daesh militants.

He pointed out that "Turkey and its supporters are spreading terrorism in the region via supporting terrorist groups."
