Libyan Army Spokesman Mohamed AL Hegazy confirmed on Sunday the kidnapping of three Christian men, including an Egyptian, at the hands of Daesh militants in Libya.

Libya 24 quoted AL Hegazy as saying that the three persons were abducted in Nofaliya district that considers one of Daesh strongholds in the Libyan city of Sirte.

The Daesh group in Libya posted Saturday on social media a statement showing copies of the three men passports and also their pictures.

The three men are from Egypt, Nigeria and Ghana.
