The 71st battalion in the Libyan city of Tobrok arrested 61 illegal immigrants from Sudan and Egypt during their presence on the Libyan territories.
Battalion commander Eziddin al Sowaydek said in statements on Tuesday the presence of illegal immigrants in Libya has become a matter of concern as their ages ranges between 20 and 35 years and that their destination is to clash-striken cities.
He added that investigations started with them in line with legal procedures and that they will be deported.
