Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptian Expatriates Hisham el Naqeeb said that the Libyan authorities released the second batch of the Egyptian fishermen which include 15 fishermen who were on a fishing boat held in Misrata for violating territorial water.

This comes after intensified efforts by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian ambassador in Tripoli.

Naqeeb said that this comes within the framework of the directives of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to continuously follow up the Egyptian expatriates' conditions.
