Cairo - MENA
Libyan Foreign Minister Mohamed Al Dairi strongly denounced on Tuesday the terror acts committed by terror groups in his country since 2012.
Speaking at the emergency meeting of the Arab League (AL) to discuss developments in Libya, he said Libya is suffering from terrorism targeting Libyan police and army personnel as well as employees at the Criminal Investigation Department, in the legal field and civil society organizations.
Terrorism in Libya has surged with the emergence of Ansar Al Sharia group labeled by the UN as a terror organization, he added.
Libya is witnessing its worst spasm of violence since the 2011 ouster and killing of dictator Muammar Gaddafi as rival militias battled for control of territory and political clout.
