Tripoli - MENA
The Libyan government has condemned the abduction of Ahmed al Sadeq, the board chairman of the awqaf authority in the country.
In a statement Tuesday, the Libyan government called Sadeq's abduction a "shameful" act, stressing it will exert utmost efforts to release him.
It also held the kidnappers legally and morally responsible.
The government will work hard to bring the perpetrators to justice, it assured.
Sadeq was kidnapped last week in al Baydaa city.
