The Libyan government condemned on Monday with the strongest terms the beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts by Daesh militant group.
In a statement, the Libyan government expressed condolences to the Egyptian people and the government.
The government announced three days of mourning in solidarity with the Egyptian people over this tragic incident.
It vowed that such horrible crime would not go unpunished.
"Such barbaric acts would make us more determined and united with the Egyptian government to fight terrorism," the statement said.
