Libyan military source denied online reports that the forces assigned with protecting oil fields in the eastern city of Marada had withdrawn.

All reports about the withdrawal of security forces protecting the Marada oil fields are completely baseless, the source said.

The source also refuted claims that negotiations were held with the terrorist group of Daesh to allow its access to the oil fields.
