Libyan parliament

The Libyan Council of Deputies is the only legitimate body to authorize any agreed upon national unity government, an official in the inter-Libyan dialogue said Saturday.
Saleh Hemma said if this condition was objected, the Council of Deputies would walk out of the ongoing negotiations.
The rival Libyan parties have been holding meetings since Thursday in Morocco to strike a deal leading ultimately to form a national unity government.
Hemma's remarks came after reports suggested that the UN-delegation, brokering the negotiations, would not give the current parliament the authority to legalize the would-be new formed unity government.
