Libyan parliament speaker Aguila Salah, General Commander of the Libyan Army Khalifa Haftar, Libya's army Chief of Staff Abdel Razek Al Nadori and Eastern Libya's representative on the Presidential Council Ali Qatrani met on Sunday at the army's headquarters in Marj city.

In statements, the media office of the army's general command said the meeting aimed to study the ongoing military and political situation in Libya.

They also discussed Barqa Province chieftains and leaders' call to work on holding a national dialogue that aims to announce a national unity government that is not under the influence of international community.
