The Libyan Parliament will convene later on Sunday to choose candidates for the position of prime minister and his two deputies in the government of national reconciliation.
In the morning parliamentary session, the Libyan lawmakers discussed the files of nine possible candidates, parliament member Jalal al Shwehdi said.
Former prime minister Ali Zeidan and Libya’s former ambassador to the UN Abdel Rahman Shalgham are among the candidates, he added.
