Bomb disposal experts dismantled on Thursday explosive materials put beneath a white-colored car close to a checkpoint in the city.

The explosives include a mortar shell and a number of C4 plastic explosives and homemade bombs, Information department with criminal investigation office in Benghazi posted on its official page.

Libyan security forces have evacuated the area and summoned a bomb disposal expert who managed to defuse the explosive materials.
