The interim Libyan government has denied social media reports on the deployment of foreign troops on Libyan lands.
In statements on Sunday, Interim Government Spokesman Hatem el Aribi said the government has categorically denied the arrival of foreign troops to the Libyan territories.
The spokesman also asserted that the interim government has never asked for military intervention in Libya, noting that the international community should only work on lifting the embargo on arming the Libyan army in order to be able to confront terrorist groups.
