Tripoli - MENA
The Libyan navy rescued on Tuesday 112 illegal migrants off the coast of Tripoli before making a dangerous journey to Europe through the Mediterranean Sea.
The migrants, mainly Africans, were rescued 10 miles off the Libyan coast, Spokesman for the Libyan Navy told MENA on Tuesday.
He added that they were trying to cross to Europe on a rickety boat. The migrants are held at a navy base in Tripoli.
