The Cairo Criminal Court Sunday sentenced 10 defendants to life and a minor to 15 years in jail over charges of theft, possession of weapons without licenses and setting fire to a car affiliated to a satellite channel.

The criminals robbed the vehicle's equipment and attacked its crew in Talbia district.

Earlier, the general prosecution referred them to the criminal court after accusing them with attacking the camera crew of "Tahrir" satellite channel in February 2014.
