Firefighters contained a fire that broke out on the fifth floor of the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry building in down town Cairo.

Ministry Spokesman Mahmoud Diab said a short circuit has likely caused the fire, with no material damage or casualties reported.

In statements to MENA, Diab said Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Khaled Hanafy is currently in his office and resumed his duties as usual.
