The Upper Egypt governorate of Luxor received Saturday 500 handicapped persons from various Egyptian governorates on the anniversary of the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

The journey to Luxor and Aswan is organized by the Ministry of Youth.

The International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being.
