Luxor security chief on Wednesday denied media reports that a security checkpoint in the Upper Egyptian city has been attacked by terrorists.
He called on media outlets and news websites to be accurate in circulating news.
Earlier in the day, Luxor policemen chased a truck loaded with stolen cables.
