Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab congratulated the Egyptians on Wednesday on the occasion of the New Year, wishing Egypt welfare and prosperity in the coming year.
During the last cabinet's meeting in 2014, Mahlab asserted that Egypt restored its regional and international position in this year.
The premier added that the government will do its best in 2015 to take on great challenges facing the country at this critical phase.
Mahlab called on the Egyptians to work harder to reach progress for Egypt.
