Egyptian PM Ibrahim Mahlab

Outgoing Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left the cabinet premises on Saturday afternoon after holding a brief meeting with his government ministers during which he offered thanks to all ministers.

In statements following the meeting, Mahlab said the government worked at a critical phase in Egypt's history and the coming phase needs new blood. He pledged to serve the country in any position.

Investment Minister Ashraf Salman, Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouli and Justice Minister Ahmad Al Zanad paid farewell to the premier while leaving.
