Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab

During his visit to Luxor, Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met with executive leaderships in the governorate in the presence of a number of ministers and the Luxor governor.

During the meeting, Mahlab urged the Luxor governor and all the other governors to hold a weekly meeting to discuss the interests of the citizens.

Taking swift decisions for the interest of the citizens is really important at this stage, Mahlab said.

Mahlab said that the education file is very important and he gave direction to carry out maintenance work in schools in the governorate during the summer vacation.

Mahlab also said that health and housing files are vital. He authorized the housing ministry's undersecretary to end a social housing project in Luxor by providing services and paving roads.

Mahlab reiterated that the governor and the heads of the neighborhoods should follow up the cleanness of the governorate through the day.

He lauded the renovation of archaeological sites in Luxor including Ram Road, Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings.

He urged more security efforts to protect the archaeological sites, asserting the importance facing crimes as the security is the cornerstone of development.
