Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left here Thursday, after a two-day visit to Jordan.
During the visit, King Abdullah II of Jordan received Mahlab at al Hosseinieh Palace in the presence of Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.
Mahlab and Ensour also chaired the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee, which was held yesterday and an agreement was reached to sign 10 pacts between the two countries to boost cooperation in trade, transportation, investment, standards, agriculture, and other fields.
Mahlab met yesterday with a host of Jordanian businessmen and a number of Egyptian investors.
