A makeshift bomb exploded at a level crossing in Abul-Shouquk village in the Delta city of Sharqiya Wednesday.
No casualties were reported, a security source told MENA.
The blast brought train movement along Zagazig-Mansoura line to a halt, the source said.
Sappers are currently combing the area in search for more explosives.
