A makeshift bomb went off Tuesday in 6th October district, causing damage to a bank's ATM, a security source said.

The bomb targeted the ATM of the Housing & Development Bank in Sheikh Zayed neighborhood, the source told MENA.

No casualties were reported, the source said.

An investigation team was formed, he said, adding that footage captured by the bank's CCTVs would also be probed.
